We've had a mild winter and a very hot Spring. I think we've had 8 days in the 90's this month and tomorrow will be the first day with a high lower than 70. Everything is at least 3 weeks early.

Speaking very generally, lilies bloom in this order: martagons, asiatics, trumpets, then orientals.

There is plenty of overlap and varieties that are prone to bloom earlier or later within their span. Then there are the crosses between these divisions and your bloom usually happens somewhere in the middle.

Clear as mud? Green Grin!
Where are we going, and why am I in this hand-basket?
