How's Mops doin .. I have a diabetic horse and we feed a special feed made with beets helps control blood sugar. Hill's diet brand has a well balanced food for diabetic dogs too. I'ts very difficult to control blood sugars in animals , not easy to get blood samples to check for sugar levels.
It's just the ability we learn to read how they are feeling.
Flu shots are available for pets as well as other preventative treatments. Vaccines are available for both H3N8 and H3N2 canine influenza.
