What is it with cats and succulents?? I adopted my young grandson's cat (part Maine coon) because at their place it was getting into the kitchen and everything in the kitchen. So I said sure. The first thing I found I had to do was tape my kitchen cupboards closed or most stuff would be on the floor by morning.

But one of the first things this guy did was was remove every leaf from my Graptopetalum paraguayense. I'm hoping the bare stem will produce again but in the meantime I'm trying to propagate the detached leaves.

Hey Alice, how are those forks working? I don't think they would stop THIS cat Rolling on the floor laughing . Now all the plants are behind closed doors that I "think" the cat can't open, but he tries.
