@Hammerojustice: I've had splendid success with celery. Photo 5-3-2020, 2- liter pop bottle. As a biennial, celery has that hardiness factor that is well-suited for the winter sowing method, as do perennials and reseeding annuals. Tender annuals can be wintersown in spring.
