I'm sharing the Trudi Davidoff message on Winter Sowing this week with my community garden compadres so am glad to see an article here on the NGA with such great illustrations. I've come to enjoy the twist-tie method of securing the jugs. Your method also uses less tape, and I think that's great too.

I'll also share that using a tote with red solo cups also worked great for me last year. I am planting a new one up with poppy varieties, can't wait! It's a great antidote to the Covid blues and the grey winter doldrums. Thanks for the share!
