Now that I have seen how these lovelies bloom..such water hogs that they are.. Big Grin but really strikingly elegant once in bloom..next question now..so do I wait for all the blooms to wither altogether before I chop off the withered parts and the bloom stalk? Some of the blooms are fading now and I see the green lump forming for the seeds. I know with amaryllis this part is removed so the plant does not spend energy for seed formation. Is it the same with Hymenocallis?
