Ever have one of those days when every time you turned around the day just seemed to get better? Well, I had one yesterday. First I was feeling good about getting my veggie garden planted, and while I was admiring my work, in drives the mail truck with a delivery of iris rhizomes I'm trading with a fellow iris lover I met on the ATP iris forum. That was fun unpacking and planting. Then later in the day I get a call from an area School District Director of Instruction. I had worked with them for about 6 years doing consulting through a grant, that has since ended. He was inviting me to apply for a part time job doing some intstructional coaching for thier math program. Might be a good thing, since I'm taking another 14% cut in my retirment benefits. Then topping things off, as I went out to feed the turkeys, I found that when RJ stood up, he was brooding 2 of the baby turkeys! He's a good daddy just like his father was. I was really happy about that. Mom had 2 under her, and he had two under him. I'll try to get some pics when I can. So now I wonder if this is a learned behavior, or is it geneticlly imprinted? HMMMM.
Politicians are like diapers, they need to be changed often, and for the same reason.
