I've been known to stick flowers in any available container that will hold water!
I once even used a little ceramic birdhouse that I filled with water for a few daisy stems .
A few containers I currently have holding cut flowers ... all fading at the moment but I thought I'd share some examples to give folks some more ideas of containers that can be used:
