At this point they don't even run unless I'm within 10 feet or so. A few nights ago one had a dandelion leaf in it's mouth, hopped a few feet away, leaf still in mouth, still nibbling and we had a stand-off. I'd take a step, he'd take a hop. A step, a hop. A step, a hop. Nibbling all the time. I think he finally got bored and hopped under a cypress.
