I love hibiscus and have about 75 and I think everyone of the named varieties. I am not a fan of online stores such as Brecks but they had all for $6.99. I ordered 5 just to see what I would get. I was shocked, huge bare root hibiscus. I turned around and bought 30 more. They had French Vanilla for $4.99. I saw the post about Sooner plant farms. They have some great plants but you pay a great cost for them. I have found 2 sellers on Ebay that will sell you 1 year starter plants far cheaper. Curious, has anyone seen the new Proven Winner hardy hibiscus to come out this spring called Edge of night. I met a young man and lady on fb and we talked of hibiscus. Two weeks ago there was a pkg. at my door they had sent me 3 large clumps of it. It cannot be bought in US and the only place to sell it is a nursery in France and one in Hungary. They also sent me asst. seeds of ones they pollinated. They live in Russia and how it got to me is way over my head. I have a hibiscus that grows easily from seeds. It came from South America. It is a rambling hibiscus that has small blooms and my zone 8 stays green all year but want bloom until summer gets hot.
