Lamiaceae (mint family) includes rosemary, basil, lavender, thyme, sage, marjoram, parsley, spearmint, peppermint? 180 genera. Mint family is IDd by a square stock. This is one of those trivia things I learned on a Parks and Recreation nature walk about 40 years ago.
