Different hoyas have their own blooming times....and many bloom when they just feel like it. Whistling

I had a huge compacta once and the only way I could get rid of the mealie bugs INSIDE the leaves was to dunk the whole blinking plant in a tub of mildly soapy water (something mild like Joy or Dove...NOT Ultras and NOT antibacterial). It worked like a charm. I use BATS systemic in my greenhouse which takes care of the brats!!!!

Closed plastic bags work for many to propagate...they don't work for me because of our relatively high humidity.

There is a wonderful bunch of tutorials/videos done by Doug Chamberlain who lives in Vermont...on You Tube.... Also a thread on his videos on the Hooked on Hoya Cubit. Green Grin!
It's all about choices.
