Very nice dotty Elepaio..

I have not count the number of species and variety for years now. Some years ago I did try to catalogue, and it was more than ten thousands, The number seems large, but it was not so strange, since I grow any kind of plants I could grow, from fern to trees, from "weedy" road side plants to rare plants. edibles to medicinal, anything. Mostly they are not "INTERESTING" plants at all.
And since I count the number of variety not the Species the number get large quickly,

For example Croton, Codiaeum variegatum, if every different variety being count, then quickly it will reach above 100, although most I have are no ID, but if it was count as species, it will be only 1.

If I count by the species only, the number of my plants shrink alot.
