Bitsy is fairly new to my garden. The initial scapes tend to be shorter. It reblooms taller (perhaps on new growth) until it's stopped by frost, which was early November here in Tennessee. I'll measure their height when I get a chance. The buds seem to be tipped in purplish, but it's a subtle effect. Maybe that depends on temperature.
