Thank you all for your comments, thumbs & acorns! Thumbs up
I remember being surprised to see sempervivums growing in a rock wall in Waterbury, Connecticut, my wife, Ginger's, home town, years ago.
I only have these 2 semps, which I bought a few years ago.
They seem to be doing well...I try not to water too much....only when dry.

Before....original succulent mix

After.....course granite

And video showing how I replaced the top 1/2 inch of loose succulent mix with course graded granite from the local desert to help keep them dry, using
a neat little vac/blower I purchase on Amazon....have cleaned my computer 2X
as well as the semps on one charge.
Works great. Smiling
