Nan, I am glad that you revived this thread because I am sure there are many folks who are not aware of this. I bought a few daylilies from big box stores and I don't have them anymore.

I got Strawberry Candy from Walmart in 2008, but then found out about tissue culturing. Kept it for several more years, then got rid of it and bought SC in 2018 from a daylily seller. I do believe that the branching is much better on the new plant.
