We had terrible winds, too Shawn. So sorry you had damage. I hope it recovers.

So it did get down to 29°F here last night. I covered as much as I could, but of course I couldn't get it all. Because of the high winds , I couldn't use my long sheets of frost cloth. I prioritized my efforts on peonies with buds, and those that I had never seen bloom before. I took these photos this morning before I uncovered everything.

Angel Emily is a favorite and has 7 buds. I put two bamboo stakes beside here so the frost cloth wouldn't be resting on the buds.

I used Costco leaf bags for the ones that were tall

Blonde Vision had to be under my largest flower pot! She has a lot of buds.

Lavender Hill got a sheet. Poor Dawn Glow didn't get covered and is laying over.

The purple and white bed got a lot of protection!

It is a lot of work, but I just love my peonies, and do my best. We will see what blooms in just a few weeks.
LG - My garden grows with love and a lot of hard work.
