I got yet another L.purp variety yesterday - the tag says L. purpurata 'Rio' so I'll be curious to see what it looks like. There was a fellow there yesterday picking through to find all the L. purps and he even had two that were in bloom! Mine is pretty small, so I'd imagine no flowers until next summer. The orphanage also had that Miltassia Sheilob - very pretty, Lindsay. I hovered over it and another Mtssa (can't remember which one it was) for a while, but chickened out. I really want that beautiful red one 'Aztec Toni' like Jim's. Not sure I have a location shady enough for it, but hmmm, I suppose I could make one . . . !

If I have any grocery money left over this week, I think I'm going back for a couple of Zygonisia cynosure "Blue Birds" though. They have several nice size ones for $10 each.
