Over a month ago, my husband came home with a hanging orchid pot with an orchid that died from crown rot. Our friend thought I could revive a dead orchid . But when I looked the roots seemed to be healthy but the orchid was dead and for few weeks there was no signs of life. So whenever I have left over, "general purpose" Agro-thrive, I just pour it on this "dead orchid".
Look closely, this might be a wishful thinking, but there is a baby shoot coming out. Now I have to buy orchid bark to see if it will survive.
Update: surprisingly healthy roots, removed dead stuff, cleaned and soaked with hydrogen peroxide and water for a few minutes.
New look, soaked the entire pot and bark with mixture of general purpose Agro-Thrive and rainwater. Giving it 10% survival rate.
