Thank you jvdubb, good points. If you can't tell already, we really try to cram in the color, maximizing every inch of soil and season : ) We even plant our perennials closer together (which also means they don't need mulch to keep down weeds). I'll open the box to take a photo of the tubers soon.
Roughly how much width do these dahlia plants take up?
Do they do well in pots, and if so, how wide and deep a pot would you use?
Do you think they'd do well planted among perennials like Black Eyed Susans, Catmint, Creopsis (Tickseed), Echinacea, etc.
Do you think the tubers could be planted in a bed I'm seeding with sunny pollinator perennials?
