While wandering through my garden yesterday, I found a bearded iris blooming that stood only 6-inches tall! The blossom is large palm size. I almost missed it because it was blooming along side some grape hyacinths, which were nearly the same color. After a bit of research, I "discovered" that there is such a thing as a miniature dwarf bearded iris. Is that what this is? It has bloomed really early, with only 2 other iris in my garden just showing a stalk with bud. I bought this iris as part of "Reblooming German Iris Mix" that in theory is supposed to get 3" tall. I'm confused. Any insight is appreciated.
