Jan's Twister is going into its fifth year in my gardens and it does very well in my cold climate gardens. This one is gorgeous!

The scapes are listed for 28 inches and it does at least that, though it always feels 'taller' when I see it in bloom. The blooms hold well above the foliage and I do have to agree with other comments: this one stands out!

I did have an occasion, a couple of years back, when two of its flowers were fused together at the base, but generally they maintain good separation. And these flowers are large... listed as 11.5-inch blooms. Not sure they are 'quite' that big, but they are larger than any other daylily blooms in that area of the gardens.

The petals often curl, the sepals have been known to quill ... there is even a slight ruffle along the edges of some blooms; and honestly, no two blooms are ever the same. But that's one of the things about it that I enjoy: it's never boring! This one is a keeper.
Life is what happens while you are making other plans.
