Marilyn, I just read this post today. I am so sorry for your loss.
On St. Patrick's Day, I lost my son to skin cancer. He was not quite 58 years old. It is a horrible disease. There are no words to soothe your heartache, but I pray that you will be in time, able to feel joy again.
A very close garden friend of mine is now going through that as well. Her husband is in hospice at home. So much sadness right now.
Please take good care of yourself, and I hope you will be able to find some solace in your gardening activities.
