The only thing I can really say about these bulbs..they are really very very thirsty ones and they sure tolerate our hot hot days here..been having 98's here and as long as I have watered them well early, it does not seem to mind at all.
And to think I did not even give it any fertilizer or bulb booster thing when I planted it. Big Grin

It somehow gave me a cue on how to treat my amaryllis bulbs...I have some that I got from my aunt this Jan which I have brought outdoors, and seeing how the Ismene ones love water, I have been giving the amaryllis daily regular watering too, and saw marked improvements on the leaves. Now I understand what it likes Big Grin My first time to have them outdoors..so learning as I go.. Whistling So the warmer it gets, the more water they want.

Go for it Evan...it might give you much better yield 2nd time around!
