@Jasmine - yes, I will bring the monarda and craspedia. I'm planning to bring everything I have even if someone hasn't claimed it.
@VerdantApt - I am 15 min north of Evanston and I grow my veg/fruit in raised beds or pots. Not because of soil concerns, I have dogs that like to eat soil and plants and will eat my tomatoes right off the vine if they were able to reach them. If I were to ever grow in-ground I would probably use a basic soil test that you can order online or pick up at a nursery.
