Jo Ann I have brought terra cotta pot in the states and they are light weight and I left them on the porch and they cracked. But the Mexican pot are fine.
The large Head pots I cannot lift them I put them up on styrofoam blocks and cover them with plastic for the winter. They have been out there for 3 years now.
