Margaret, I'd be shocked, since the parents weren't what I'd call stunning, but they are all I had to work with at the time. Oh well, I'll be happy even if they are ugly! I had much prettier daylilies to work with last year, so hopefully their babies will be pretty. Now if I can just get them started, I'd be better off. I finally got around to soaking them yesterday. I'm so behind this year! Looks like I'll get blooms any day now from some of my daylilies, which is much earlier than usual. I normally don't get any blooms until at least July 4th, other than the ditch lilies and a few Stella's, though the Stella's aren't regular bloomers for me, and they never rebloom. I've really got to move them!

Lyle, do you ever get any ugly seedlings? I'd love to see some pictures! It would give me hope!
