This Encyclia is part of my mixed Encyclia basket which I had picked up some years ago as "Chocolate scented Enc tampensis". The basket has a bunch of spikes coming along, this one is probably something along the lines of Enc plicata with some (chocolate scented ) phoenicea thrown into the mix. It smells delicious!

Stanhopea embreei opened two nicely scented blooms today. 1. pic taken in the morning, 2. pic taken in afternoon sun. The plant hangs high under the Japanese Maple.

and Bl Morning Glory opened a late bloom.
