I see I have been seriously awol. I got logged out on my phone.

Judith, I hope you found the answer to your ailment. Sometimes when I go to the doctor, people will say something along the lines of, 'I hope they don't find anything.' No, they'll never find the solution if they can't find anything.

I went to the allergist two weeks ago and she changed out my allergy medicine, the stuff I spray into my nose. Sometimes it works fairly well and some times not so much. If the some times get to be too often, I'll have to contact her. She said she can resubscribe without seeing me. We both thought I should stay away from nightshades since they make may rash flare up. Since then, I see that mushrooms and chicken are also trouble. I don't like vegetables much to begin with, but that eliminates all of the low calorie vegetables worth eating. My feet don't seem to itch as much now, but I don't want to jinx myself. Knock on wood.

Five years ago, I sold plants on eBay. It wasn't a major thing, but I made a couple hundred dollars a year that I otherwise wouldn't have made on stuff that would have gone into the compost bin. I started up last fall and sold no plants. I don't know if it was the time of year or postage being so high now. It's twice what it was 5 years ago and they no longer do first class (12 ounces or less) boxes. Anyway, I brought some plants inside to plump up, get good roots, and get good color and when they're ready, I'll try again. I don't ship until the weather is right across the whole US. In the meantime, I've been selling some of my books. I can't compete with the discount postage that nonprofits get, so my mass-produced books are worthless to me in this regard, but small printings of local or special interest sell fairly well for the most part. I'm not making big bucks but I've made $200 this year and that is that many fewer things my heirs will have to deal with. I don't plan on dying any time soon, but it will happen eventually. My brother had quite a deal of working taking care of my parents' estate and he lived maybe an hour and a half away from them. My family is three time zones away.

And that's all the news fit to print.
