Okay, I'm not the only one. I checked for scapes yesterday on all the usual suspects and no sign of a single scape on any cultivar. Most of the plants looks great because of abundant rainfall and no late hard freezes. I'm beginning to get a bit worried that what I thought was going to be a great season is going to be instead a sad one. My iris and lilies are doing spectacularly well so I had high hopes for the daylilies. Crossing Fingers! everything is just running late. We are expecting temps this weekend in the high 80s-low 90s. Maybe that will wake up these plants!
