Carol, the name of your plant is correct according to RHS but the A in ablaze should be capitalized as in Ablaze.

Kathy, as I mentioned in an earlier post in the Orchid Questions forum (Orchid Questions for New and Old Growers) http://cubits.org/orchids/thre..., my Miltoniopsis look much healthier after not being fertilized for a year and now only get fertilizer every 2 to 3 weeks. If you look closely at older leaves they have somewhat similar mottling to the phal. you had presented. Difficult to tell from picture but the next to last growth the leaves look a little better and the most recent growth has clear leaves although a few wrinkles. I am truly convinced these plants (Miltoniopsis as well as many of it's closely related hybrids) don't require much fertilizer.

bree, that is a huge dorsal sepal on that Paph. Does it have a name?
