Doesn't much bother mint... I'd be surprised if anything more than fertilizer was used... And... Mint? Shouldn't even need that!

That said.... there are people who are absolutely Obsessive-Compulsive over their plants, and could well have dumped dangerous systemics all over their plants.

I've read that those Neonicotinoids don't just linger for the season... they are multigenerational! Meaning... they remain in the germ plasm of the seeds, and continue in future offspring!
