I once got severe blistering from Spathiphyllum pollen. Very, very itchy with blisters 1" wide and 1/2" high. It was on the inside of my elbow on the thinner skin. I've gotten it on the backs of my hands with no problem, but that time was really bad. Since then I'm sensitive to the scent as well.
