Laurie, It's been a while since I've done it, but first I got an import license free from the USDA (it's good for 3 years), you can do that on line. Then I made the order with Cayeux Irises. There was some paper work that I had to scan and send to Cayeux. Payed them with a credit card, they shipped the irises, took about a month to get here and go through inspection at a port of entry. Then they showed up at my door. At the time, the exchange rate was in my favor, so they weren't really that expensive. I don't know how things are now regarding that.
Politicians are like diapers, they need to be changed often, and for the same reason.
