My thought was to dig it up. I think I will try clipping it, and perhaps hitting it again with the Tinkers Daylily Booster recipe

1 teaspoon Epsom Salt
1 ounce sorghum molasses (I use whatever kind I can find)
1 Tablespoon of Baking Soda
! gallon of water.

It's still got some fans that are looking OK, so I think I will do this tonight, watch it for the next couple of days, and if it seems to continue to get worse, I will dig it up just like you did Shirlee. I have about 3 plants, in 2 separate beds that are doing this - and all were great healthy plants last year - and all the beds are only a year old.

It could possibly be that these plants are more susceptible to our Village water, which is mildly softened. (it is not supposed to affect plants). Maybe I will try to water those particular plants with water that has stood for a couple of days. I have never done this much hand watering since I started flower gardening. At this point, it is the only explanation I have. ~Jan
