Well I think it's official this time. Shelter had an adopt a thon today. Went on my way home from getting meds. Another woman and I pulled up at the same time...she wanted to surrender a stray that had been at her house for 3-4 days...tried to find owner but no luck. Because of the adopt a thon they weren't taking any drop offs. She will be gone for the weekend with no one to look after dog. Plus she already has a couple and house isn't big enough for another. Said I would take her. We never got through the gate, but I made a donation to the shelter anyway since I didn't adopt one from there...seemed only right. She is much younger than I was looking for...around 8mos perhaps...but right place, right time. I really like the name Bailey so that is what I've named her...she's black with white markings. Vet visit July 8 for shots etc and arrange for spay.
So I am happy to present Bailey, my new furbaby
