Summer has been fooling around here since April. Summer weather is unpleasant, but I'm going to try to have a better attitude about it and not wish away half of the year. Summer is not really our season of growing and life. We have some garden, but out in the wild, most of the plants will be snoozing soon. The wild grass has been dead for probably a month. Plant-wise, summer here is a lot like fall for the rest of you. We have plants that are drought deciduous. That is a real term.

My pants were looking terribly baggy, so I got a new pair, 2 sizes smaller and they fit! (I hope they don't shrink in the wash, knock on wood.) Although it is hot now, I wear pants to physical therapy and certain other indoor locations.
