I tried the meter a couple of times and it registered over 8! I got some Aluminum Sulfate, too. Smiling I've always grown mostly annuals in containers till the past couple of years, so the soil here had been a non-issue. I did add bone meal and manure to the planting hole for the daylily when I planted it, but the basic ground is pretty much clay. Looked great the first year it bloomed!
Confidence is that feeling you have right before you do something really stupid.
