I haven't used these markers in the garden over a winter yet, but I have used the P-Touch labels on other markers for several years now. I use the same ones as valleylynn and they're wonderful. I've never had any problem with fading or peeling. If anything, I end up ruining the marker and the label is still good. Whistling

Mary, the P-Touch labels don't have raised letters. But I do know what you're referring to. Not sure those would withstand outdoor use.

Allison, I like the idea of having clear labels too!
