These photos are from when we lived in Central Florida - Night Blooming Cereus Cactus

I always told my neighbor when I would be going out at night, as her bedroom was on the other side of the fence supporting the Cactus.

This one always bloomed at 10 pm - never changed.

It was challenging to avoid the spines (they do hurt) but get a decent photo with camera in one hand and small flashlight in the other.

These blooms were the size of a desert/salad plate and the aroma .. superb!
