Hi,

I have just discovered my very large schefflera has a scale infestation.

It's a medium scale infestation as most of the leaves have scale (as shown in the photos) but the leaves are not yellow or damaged yet.

However, due to the size of the plant (please see photo) I am not sure if I can treat this plant for the scale infestation.

There are a lot of leaves and I am not sure if its better to dispose of the plant to protect my other plants or if it is worth trying to treat the infestation with rubbing alcohol and neem oil etc

It would be a shame to dispose as its such a big beautiful plant but I dont want to waste my time if its too big/difficult to treat and risk infestating my other plants.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thank you
Adam
