Even if the "Cultural Keys" to grow Disas have been revealed, their reputation of being very difficult to grow will likely hound them forever.
Regardless though they are beautiful. There is no denying that!
As far as them ever becoming popular with really good orchid growers, I can not predict where that will go exactly.
As far as the casual grower or spontaneous grower goes, will people like that ever get that involved with meeting their demands? In certain peoples' 'brown thumbs' they struggle with Phalaenopsis,Paphiopedilums and Oncidiums, easier things to grow. So capturing enough of a market share there will be difficult.
My other point is price. Will they ever be competitively priced to be able to establish a niche for Disas?
