What kind of ports are on your HP? I'm assuming it has to have at least a USB port?
Your camera possibly came with a cable that will connect from the camera to a USB port. If not, that is probably the cheapest thing you can buy to get it connected easily, like this one:

You might have a cable like that laying around from other devices and no need to buy another, as long as the connections are what you need for the Sony camera and USB at the other end, it should work fine.
Or, if you're ok with removing the Sony memory stick, you could get a card reader that will accept the Sony memory stick, such as this one:

Advantage to that is they usually come with multiple ports for just about every memory card you will run into. The cable though would definitely be the easiest to deal with daily.
