First year plants, blooming along the path on the far side of the lake. Most are still blooming and all appear to be quite healthy. Smiling I'm not at all sure how they're doing it...do you suppose their roots went deep enough to reach moisture pulled from the lake? They're not at all close to the edge - perhaps 30' from it.
