I use to keep rabbits when I lived in Massachusetts. I enjoyed it and usually purchased mine at the agricultural fairs or received them from people as "gifts". Since they couldn't care for them anymore or had litters. They were very inexpensive. Anyway, I went in the pet store here in Florida with my daughter to possibly get her a pet rabbit. They wanted $200 for a basic rabbit, not a special breed or anything.
I was shocked. That was just for 1 rabbit, no cage or anything.
