Before I left home last week I picked cherries from the Cherry , and Choke Cherry, trees I planted 12 years ago.
For too many years I did not pick the cherries, either forgot, or suddenly the tree was stripped from top to bottom.
Last time I picked a few was at least five years ago.

This time I picked an Ice Cream pail full , with several cups of Choke Cherries also.
Sharon made a cherry pie, the day after I got back, not bad but it would have been better if she has pitted the cherries first. Rolling on the floor laughing (Welcome to the Twilight Zone)

I have not decided whether I will try making wine or jelly with ones still in the fridge. I tip my hat to you.
