And if you want to do it the killing way, a .22 should suffice. If your county doesn't allow firearm shooting, then a 1000 FPS air rifle would work. I would do it a non-killing way though, since this time of year you're not suppose to eat bunnies (tularemia is common in Summer), and if I kill something like a rabbit, it would feel like a waste of life to me if I were to just throw the body away. But of course, if your garden depends on it, I wouldn't condemn you for throwing the body away.
