I hope the darn dear keep out and don't munch on them again. 100 degrees is much, much too hot. Sad

I just came inside to take a break and have something cool to drink as I just finished spraying my roses with the systemic fungicide. Have to do that to leep the blackspot away and have nice clean green leaves on the roses. While I was puttering around out there I was watching Robins, Catbirds and Cedar Waxwings eating berries off my front yard Goumi Shrubs. These are in the Rissian Olive Family and pretty shrubs. I have a row of them. Then they bloom in spring and the scent is just wonderful and sweet. The berries are pretty big but oh so sour. I guess they would be good for jellies and jams if your the type of person who makes them. Not me! I just leave those berries for the birds to eat and the birds just love them. So I get my fun as I love to watch those birds.
