I can't remember what this was called when I bought it and it's doubtful it had a latin name on it anyway. It looks like an aroid, that's about all I know. It has been in a back bed for about 4 years but recently I removed the heliconias that were shading it and it got sunburned as summer started and the walls of the garden no longer shaded it. I moved it to another spot that I think will give it more dappled light in summer and more light in winter. Either it thinks it is dying or it is really happy because suddenly I noticed it has bloomed for the first time. Can anyone help me identify it?

A day without sunshine is like, you know, night.
