hoyahead22 said: Hi! I was wondering if anyone had some advice about how to treat this calathea? I was out of town for a week and when I returned the plant had brown spots. The spots are spreading over the whole plant and the leaves are wilted (soil is not dry). It's grown indoors in a southern window in a 6-inch pot. I always water it with distilled water. Attached are pictures on the plant 3 months ago in it's glory days, and of one of the affected leaves today Sad

I would have to agree fungal. This is a sensitive one to grow, mine is outside most the year, took awhile to find a happy place, doesn't like to be soaking wet or in direct sunlight, the leaves get yellow or brown around the edges, no spots like that. I'd cut off the infected leaves.
